This was included with the snow blower (cyber special). Decent on sidewalks with light snow.

Exactly, but corded.
I have a Toro 60V single stage. No issues at all for residential. Cleared the 8 inches from the overnight snowfall from a 30’ two car driveway and about 200’ of sidewalk on a single charge. No gas, no tune ups just pop in the battery and go.
We have an HOA that cleared our walks and driveway overnight. No batteries required.

No classes tomorrow, either.
=>Kinda. They are online.
The UMass game is still on for now
Remember: attending a Miami hoops game is considered essential travel.
Anyone debating coming down or up for the game, At least coming from the west and north roads were completely pristine. Not a flake to be seen on US 27.
In White Plains, NY we received 21.5 inches and I had to use the snow blower twice on Sunday and again early Monday morning.
Thankfully we did not lose power. Not the worst storm in the past ten years but bad enough. Some models predict we may get another foot over the weekend.
Probably related to the white death, but Miami students in several residence halls this morning woke up to no water. We received a text from our daughter very early.
I hope they can resolve that soon. Here in the Maryland ‘burbs, we’re under an advisory to avoid unnecessary water use because water line breakages are much more common when it is this cold. Even in warm weather, Oxford’s system can struggle with the surge in water demand when the students get back. Anyone else here remember the mess at the beginning of the ‘87-’88 school year? That even prompted a novelty single by “Oxford Fred & the Water Shortage.”
I have a photo of our dorm toilet from that September. Looked like it was filled with Guinness, not water.
Yes. I seem to recall they ran a temporary pipe from Hueston Woods to the Oxford Water Plant.
Ah yes, the great “They are going to close school and send us all home” urban legend from the drought that year.
Down in the other Oxford, they got hit with so much ice that Ole Miss has closed until February 8th.
