Thunderstorms in the area (SW Ohio).
This means two things:

Our dog (Mini Golden Doodle) seeks shelter in basement under my desk.

We only got a couple inches of rain. Less than 10 miles north got almost seven inches in a few hours.
It was pouring!
Tornado warnings earlier in SW Ohio.
Thunder and heavy rain.

Did they give the total amount of rain on Saturday?
At my house just outside Hamilton I measured 2.2 inches on my home weather station. Hamilton and Oxford I think were at 2. Possible tornado around the state line in college corner
We had 2.2 inches this morning at my house. 1 mile away they had 6 inches. Last week we had no hail but that same area 1 mile away suffered damage. Pure luck?

At the car dealership this afternoon. Relentless heavy rain…AND hail for a while.
Hail was small, but I wonder what damage occurred.
don’t go buying a new car until after you check it out for hail damage now lol or ask for a discount lol
I was there signing the paperwork on the new car I had ordered. Fortunately, it was inside during the storm.

Got 4” or so in Kettering this afternoon. Lots of lightning strikes and seeing the grass grow when the sun came out this afternoon after the storm

Had 2 inches last night in Hamilton and then today we are at another 1.5 inches. More rain expected tomorrow as well. Had a ton of rain lately
