I was 100 % wrong thought the Reds were dead.
Reds were hot against the Cubs. Mets and Giants playing like shit. Reds need to sweep the Pirates.
Padres clinched a WC spot last night with a walk-off win, joining the Cubs as a WC team. So the last spot will come down to the Reds, Mets, and Diamondbacks, with 6 games to play. Reds have 3 at home against the Pirates, and 3 on the road against the Brewers. As of right now, the Reds control their own destiny. Win out and they are the 3rd WC team.
This guy looks like a vampire and dresses like he robbed The Men’s Warehouse, but he does make a compelling point about the Reds and their last 6 of the season:
I fear that the up and down season this team has shown, still has another downturn remaining. All year they’ve played to their level of competition.
I’m at the game tonight!
That was exhibit A for roboUmps. Horrible umpiring.
And the Reds shit the bed in game one against the Pirates. Meanwhile Mets up 1 on the Cubs.
I suggest you watch the rest from home. You are bad luck!! ![]()
Not good. Try harder Rojos.
And I thank you again for your support
Only gane all season and the Reds just couldn’t get things going. Paul Skenese going on Wednesday night for the Parrot Shoulderers
If these bums lose another game to a shitty pirates team, I’m done for the year. Get it together!
They did this same shit a couple weeks ago. Beat the Padres and Mets 2 out of three then lost 3 straight to the Athletics.
At least the Cubs are up on the Mets right now 4-0
Come on!! Rally time. Get it together and win!
They do not deserve to advance. I’m out. Basketball needs to be the redemption chariot.
The team pleaded for fans to show up for the Pirates series, and while 30k each night isn’t close to a sellout the crowds were double what had been expected and they were very loud. The Reds didn’t hold up their end.
I’m in a bad spot as an MU Bengals and Reds fan. It’s not a great moment. Hoops please help us.
That’s where I am as well. Been a tough few weeks, but really, been a pretty tough 35 years.
The bad news, the Reds lost. The good news, the Mets lost. The bad news the Reds remain a game behind the Mets. The neutral but leaning bad news only 4 games left in the season and three against the team with the best record in baseball, the Brewers.
No matter what happens, the Reds need to find some impact offense in the off season. And retain what little impact offense they have.
