Hey, not everyone can blow out a 650-student NAIA school that’s on accreditation probation for financial stress.
If we turned it down, fine. I’m totally OK with the coaches and players deciding that.
But if not, man, this is nuts. This NET rating is such a stupid metric. We played in the same conference. We beat them by three games in conference play. We beat them head to head three times. Give me a break. Two blowout losses to Auburn and Bama gets them in? Insane.

Former Kent State coach Gary Waters was one of 7 people on the selection committee. The only ones that werent retired coaches were cusa associate commissioner and morgan state ad.
I wonder if Coach Steele will say whether or not we were invited.
San Jose State apparently got the auto bid from the Moutain West because several teams ahead of them turned it down. They are #175 in the NET. Oh, and they also get to host. What a joke.

Oklahoma State is ranked 16th out of 16 in the Big 12 in the NET. They also get to host.

Already emailed him (FWIW). But it is possible we told them that we would not accept an offer.
Not true- I was told from someone I trust and would know that we wanted to be in the NIT (not the CBI)
If that’s the case, that’s so fucking lazy. 3-0 against them, better overall record, and better conference record. Fuck the NIT.
