He’s got more MAC rings than 99.9999% of the people on this board do. Other than folks named Yellow #5 since I have 3, but I digress. I think he’s better than a lot of the vitriol he gets and maybe he’ll go somewhere and prove that. Let’s see what Henry can do.

AV will have four years in at Miami this year so let’s hope he is on schedule to get his degree. It makes sense for him to enter the portal now as his value is higher coming off his five winning starts and the fact that he has two years of eligibility left. He may want to get closer to home. He also may know he could be behind Brett and Maddox by the next Fall. Wish him all the best.
I suspect he’ll get as far away from Columbus as possible.
AV indicates he has 2 years of post-graduate. He was listed as a graduate for senior day. Sounds as if he’s a Miami grad.

Of the quarterbacks in the portal so far I have to imagine that we will take a long look at Drew Pyne. Gus Ragland should know him well and his strengths and weaknesses from his time on the ND staff.
He indicates he will have three years of eligibility remaining which also makes him attractive. I guess he is on target to get his degree from ASU which will give him immediate eligibility.

Yeah, I had actually heard a month go that Aveon was graduating and entering the portal when the season was over. My source got the information from his high school coach. I do think he plans to go to grad school and play QB somewhere where he will be the #1 guy for the next two years.

I get where you are coming from. We still have three scholarship QBs (not including BG). They need to take someone from the portal.
I know this is a virtual impossibility, but I’ve long thought that AV’s capabilities would fit well at one of the Service academies.

Pyne would make sense, especially with Ragland’s connection.
Let’s somehow get Tyler Van Dyke and hope Brett returns, that way #5 can welcome him to the real Miami… and then tell him to take a seat on the bench.

I’m guessing ECU might be quite interested, 4 1/2 hours from his home or Georgia Southern 2 1/2 hours from Lexington.
I would imagine Henry gets the start against App.
