Ben essentially confirmed this morning that this will be his last home game as a steeler. While I guess it’s still remotely possible that he plays somewhere else next season, this feels like the end. Hope he plays well on Monday

Sam Sloman signed (again) to the Steelers practice squad.
Should be an emotional night tonight for Ben and fans. Hope he has a big game and gets a long ovation.

The Steelers remain an incredibly flawed team that in all likelihood will miss the playoffs and need a new QB next year…

That game was extremely difficult to watch (no matter which team you were rooting for). Ben was off on many throws plus his receivers never seemed to create any separation on longer patterns…hence either incompletions or dump off for little to no yardage. I went to bed after the third quarter …Hated to see Ben go out like that but at least they won.
It wasn’t a great performance, but overall I thought it was a great night. The end of the game and post-game celebration was awesome. Really happy that Ben got the kind of send-off he deserved. It’s been awesome seeing the love he’s been getting from current and former players on social media. Really happy for Ben. He’s come a long way in his 18 year career, both on and off the field. Not one losing season in his career, just tremendous. Well done #7
