The honeymoon period for Claypool is over. Dude has a ton of talent, but continually makes bonehead mistakes.

Claypool has a 0 IQ football mentality. Loaded with talent, so perhaps a one-half benching might help Tomlin help this young man understand.
Ben is obviously frustrated. And perhaps now at Coach Tomlin.

It wasn’t close but the officials actually reviewed it, made the correct spot and called the runner short of the line to make. Indeed, the initial spot was horrible.

Complete opposite of what we all thought he would do. Bland vanilla offense. Part of it is the immobility of Ben. Hopefully next year, if Oh Canada is still there, the new mobile QB will help him regain the creativity he previously had.
Until the Steelers get a competent offensive line, it doesn’t matter who else they have on the team. Or who the coordinator is. That game is an embarrassment to Steeler fans. And Mike Tomlin has to bear at least some of the blame.

A mobile quarterback will not solve this current offensive scheme. Not running a sweep on 4th and short with a slow RB and a bad OLine wouldn’t be impacted by a mobile QB
