A few shots made a huge difference on this tour…Flavin drops back two shots to par on the back and finished at two under for the day, 8 under for the tournament, now in 34th place.
If I’m him tmrow, I go for broke. Unless he goes low, the points won’t matter. Stay loose and see what happens.
He played another solid round. Will likely finish in 31st place.

Also, winner was like -22. A common occurrence it seems. Pretty hard to win when -9 under is nowhere close. That tour is kinda insane.

Awesome. I’d bet a good bit that’s the only Monday Q in history with 2 MAC school qualifiers, mostly because I don’t think anyone would be able to prove otherwise.

I am living my dream reading this. I am too old to know Patrick but I absolutely knew Brad. I used to watch him swing on a mat in Withrow when there was snow on the ground. At 49, if he makes the cut, I’d be pretty much set for the rest of the year. Patrick making it as well would also rock. If you could merge them into one player, they would be unstoppable. This is sweet!

Edit: Brad Adamonis and Kyle Voska once played in the same Nationwide event. As for PGA, all bets are off. No chance it’s ever happened.

Bummer. Curious to see how Brad does. He hits it a mile even at 49. If he gets his short game going maybe he can make something happen. Very tough course.

There was a great video I saw where Brad’s kid and him chat after he finds out his dad made the field. I’ll see if I can dig it up. I am really hoping he gets hot on Yu’s senior tour. He can still play really well.

Another week…another successful Monday qualifier for Patrick. He’ll be in the field this week at the Travelers Championship.

Finally got off to a decent start. Had it to -2 at one point, but finishes at -1 for the day. Still 7 shots back of the leader, but at least gave himself a shot at making the cut.

Through 11, Patrick is currently -2 overall. That puts him right on the cut line as of now.
After missing a 6 foot birdie putt on 15, Patrick proceeds to bogey two of the final 3 holes. He misses the cut by 2 strokes. Another opportunity missed.
Maybe he makes those bogeys regardless, but I think that missed putt on 15 was a killer. It would have given him a stroke cushion on the cut and taken a lot of the pressure off. Instead…
