Of course they’ll stay in the top 10. They were #2 and lost to #3 on the road by a single point. They probably shouldn’t drop out of the top 5.
Oregon won despite 2 missed extra points, a missed short field goal and what should’ve been an interception on the 1st drive that didn’t get reviewed. OSU’s skill people are as advertised, but they’re still not good enough on the line of scrimmage.

I would agree but he’s gotta get through a bunch of better teams and he isn’t good enough to do that. He’s like 1-7 versus top 5 teams. He’s good. Just not the level they want. Shark tank job
Day is being held to the near-impossible standard of OSU football but he isn’t meeting it. He and his staff/players aren’t being paid to beat up on Michigan State, he’s paid to win these types of games. He certainly has the ability to win the Big Ten, beat Michigan, and make a playoff run to get off the hot seat but he hasn’t gotten it done so far.
Imo there isn’t a great candidate out there to replace him, that’s the biggest factor keeping him from being fired unless something crazy like 3 losses (including Michigan) happens. Imo they’ll probably win out but then blow it in the CFP quarters/semis and he’s in this weird limbo into next season.
Urban 2: electric boogaloo. That’s the plan. Unless USC pays him a gazillion dollars first.
Urban isn’t coming back. He’s burned more bridges than the Russians holding off Napoleon. I think the alumni and boosters (people with real money) were tired of his crap.
One thing’s for sure, they won’t be starting with another guy who’s never been a head coach and who’s starting “born on 3rd base”

It’ll always be insane to me that the western teams would willingly break up the Pac 12. UCLA and ASU both playing 9 AM road games this morning. ASU getting smacked around by UC.
