I’ve seen pretty reputable mock drafts with him going anywhere from 10 to 25, with a mean of about 16. So not really.

behind TOO MANY NCHC teams
I thought we had a great recruiting class!
Maybe due to a smaller class compared to others?
Runtso, Loomer and Seelinger are all studs. I get that some big names have come over from the CHL recently but there’s no way Miami’s incoming class is ninth or 10th out of 10 teams in the league.

Matous on the loose. He is headed to Miami this fall. Fourth-round Buffalo pick. Very raw but has talent. I’m hoping he’s a better and two inches shorter version of Justin Vaive.

And with the new NCAA age requirement he loses a year of eligibility if he plays another year of juniors, right?

Yeah could be. He did what’s best for him and I can’t blame him for that. Possibly lose a year then play at Miami or be able to come in now and play at a school that will let you do that. Merrimack didn’t have a bad season last year either. Morozov said a main reason he picked Miami because we were the only team that would have let him come in at 16/17.
On the other hand you could see it as a good thing that we have such a high level of commits that players are flipping to other schools because there’s no room for them. I feel like a few years ago we would’ve desperately needed him
