Offseason 2026

During J term ( in state tournament) would be good.

I’ve thought that too. Invite Robert Morris to make it a foursome. Especially more doable if/when teams are allowed to play 40 games.

Call it the Kuraly Cup.

Nate Davis was 2nd round All American 06.Heck of a player. Sr year injury ended his career.graduated '07.

Bonk - as you are aware we just picked up 4 players over the last two months - is that unusual? Is there still a roster size limit in hockey? What does our roster look like at present?

A lot can change quickly in college hockey. If this conversation was just 12 months ago, we would be looking at Augustana coming off a year finishing 35 in Pairwise and Michigan Tech 45.

Ok Bonk another pick up today from MSU - now what does our roster look like - have their been any new departures?

Anyone have a list of our new players for upcoming year?

Bonk - I think I answered part of my own question as the 2026/ 2027 roster is on the Miami web site and the recently featured players on the Miami web site are all on the roster . I am still curious how many players can be on the roster and the number of players can dress for a game - has that changed?

Noreen said we’ll have 8 freshmen and two transfers. The transfers are David Helledy and Austin Baker.

I think the 8 freshmen will be Cal Huston, Branko Vukas, Chuck Blanchard, Layne Loomer, Ryan Seelinger, Timmy Runtso, Jack Hamilton and Yegor Yegorov.

All the players they’re announcing were already expected to come in, they aren’t new adds they’re just being “officially” introduced.

We should have 26 in total…I think. Noreen said 8 freshmen, 2 seniors, a handful of juniors (I think 6) and that leaves 10 sophomores (although he didn’t give a specific number for them). Unless there’s any surprises with Usports players or professionals who come in as a soph/jr that should be our team which aligns with the 26 player roster cap

No doubt.

He should do well.

He’s a center. Always has been. Which is remarkable in itself at his size.
