Two pretty good ones that year…That didn’t work out.
Note: Dave Hyde was on my staff (Miami Student) and I recently asked him about McFadden. No information found. And yea…I even tried calling his Mom with no luck.
No into whatsoever on McFadden to be found…would appear he never played college football.
I also asked Sly Johnson, who lives in the area. He remembered him, but also had no idea what happened to McFadden.
Dude flat out vanished without a trace.
Fortunately, I was able to get through to Mrs. Seals. She knew nothing of McFadden, but asked me say hello “to that nice young man, Edward”.

When I asked his folks the next day if he had another year, they said he has two, but also did a shoulder shrug like, only time will tell. It totally didn’t register to me that he would enter the portal this year, just made me think that he’ll do another year and maybe call it a career instead of taking the extra year that Covid allowed for. But I was also a couple of drinks in at this point so my interpretation could be off.
But if I was a betting woman, which I guess I am now, ha, I’d say your memory is good and he stays at least this year.

No, but if the OL is strong and we can run the ball/pass protect far better than this season it’ll take a lot of the pressure off Gabbert.

This is exciting news…keeping in mind, the four star is potential and so far at UK, does not appear that he was meeting it, or just not getting his fair chance.
Hope it does not mean that Vaughan is done…as he was a good one.
It will be interesting to see if any of the Miami guys in the portal withdraw and try to return to Miami. So far, except for Saunders, there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of buzz on the Miami guys in the portal. OHair ended up dropping down to FCS as I expected. Perhaps after signing day, or on signing day later this week some of these guys move. Schaeffer perhaps?

I mean two years ago he started every game, right? Last year he still played in almost every game for a team that was ranked in the top 25 regularly
