Ballcoach1 joined MHT in October right after the wheels fell off the bus of the season and Chuck Martin has shown more mediocrity. Curious timing for the most optimistic Chuck fan on MHT.

Based on BC1’s analysis. Has “BallCoach” ever even been a Coach? Even flag football? Or is it just a guise to lend credit for covering for Martin?

Should Patton be the OC then? Maybe that’s a smart play. I don’t have the nuance about coaching to know if that’s a good move or is there some other quality you’d look for. Curious about this as if that guy rocks maybe that’s the logical adjustment.
I’ve mentioned…he is the run game coord, and that is not going great, nor is OL.
If they are banged up, why not role with some younger guys (there’s like 20 on the roster).

Patton’s resume is exceptional, but the play of the OL this year has been extremely disappointing and mediocre at best.

I find it truly fascinating what has to come together for someone to do their best work (in any industry). Like, why does the same person go multiple places with mixed results. Or, why do some lucky ones shine wherever they are. Fascinating to me. Sometimes it’s culture. Put another way, Air Bud is a fantastic basketball player, but I don’t think he’d make the Warriors a winning team this year.

The last 3 games and UC for sure, but RMU, NU, Buffalo and Kent all went for over 200 yards rushing. BG stacked the box to make us pass.
They have struggled though

Reflecting on the fact that Kent put up 40 at BG last night - without Dante Cepheus. Why only 10 by us?

I joined because I was looking for a place to talk with other fans about Miami football. Just because people see things differently doesn’t mean they are “bots, trolls” or whatever derogatory names you’ve called me. I obviously chose the wrong page to talk to other fans. You guys tear down, complain and attack people that don’t agree.

So, BC1, do you have another board in mind where the folks interested in Miami football see the program through rose colored glasses - as a highly successful FBS program being led by a very competent head coach? I dare say “us guys” are the traditional backbone of Miami fans. Most of us have bled red and white for more than 50 years. I shared my legacy with you earlier but that’s a post you opted not to acknowledge.

Still don’t know if you’re all the way genuine or not, but part of why people are coming at you is your “bold” predictions spanning weeks that Miami would win out and have a great season. A little humility or a mea culpa would go a long way.

No, this is the only page I found. I hate Facebook and actually don’t even have an account. I was hoping to find a place to talk about MU football. I don’t care much for constant negativity and bashing ( which is why I don’t have Facebook) . So here I am , getting brow beat daily because I still see a good Miami team on the horizon. Maybe I should start my own page huh?

Sorry brother, I’m not good at “kissing the ring”. I promise I do not think I know it all. I am just hopeful and optimistic. I also understand why sone of you think the way you do. However for me, I don’t like giving up. The team is struggling, no doubt. A win in a bowl game is still possible. Odds are against us now, but…… it can happen. And, NO, I am not happy with that result, or content. That’s all we can do this year. Then it’s on to 2023.
