Man, the last thing you want to do when you have the ball at the end of the game is allow the other team to have a shot to win. I didn’t mind the play, but to send that many guys to the glass and only have 1 guy back, man…

The sad part is that our “reward” for this great season is likely to be one of those horse shit, who cares post season tournaments. NIT has stacked the deck for power conferences teams.

You knew Akron would make a push. We seemed to get a bucket whenever the Zips started getting momentum but then we just hit a wall.
I feel terrible for the guys. I feel terrible for the coaches. I feel terrible for the students, alumni, and fans.

I’m thinking Miami at Dayton or Xavier as a first round NIT pairing. I don’t think both of them make the dance. The A10 and Big East are not really a mid-majors.
Would love to see us get an NIT invite but not holding my breath.

While the CBI selection thread was one of the great all-time comedic moments in MHT history, I don’t think I want to see us in a pay-to-play tournament.
