I thought he died in a hot yoga class 2 years ago???
I think Chuck would like it and most Mountain West match ups would be good.
It looks like demand is way up for airline travel this holiday season. Round trips to Boise, Tucson and even Phoenix are through the roof already. Lots in the $500-750 range around the dates of the bowls. . Even flights to Florida this year seem really spendy, as they say in Idaho.
=>FYI, Miami is scheduled to host UNLV next year. Quick revenge game for the loser of that bowl.
JMU would be a great game….
Agree.
BTW, we got one vote in the Coaches poll again this week
Chant along, everybody…
“We’re number 34! (Along with Iowa)”
“We’re number 34! (Along with Iowa)”
Chuck has a vote in the Coach’s Poll, correct?
CFN has Miami in the Cure Bowl again. Close to my house. Last years rarely happens in December
Chuck Martin has a vote in the coaches poll, though I’d be surprised if Miami’s one vote in the latest poll is his.
There are several MAC coaches with votes. Perhaps one of them voted for MU in support of the league?
A hypothetical quest for the Board to ponder: do you think OU and Miami’s bowl destinations will be pre-determined in advance of the MACC, or will be impacted by who wins that championship?
I think the result will impact the destination but determined by espn not by the bowl committee
Good point, Redsea. ESPN Events owns 17 bowls -and as many as 7 of the bowls the MAC is affiliated with. The boys and girls in Charlotte definitely call the shots on bowl placement.

No SJSU for any of the MAC - MW bowls
Given the records of both teams, I’d be very surprised if each didn’t know their likely bowl, or at least the 2 or 3 probable games. If either team was at 0 or 1 loss heading into the MACC, I’d imagine there would be more uncertainty.

1 MAC bowl crossed off
It’s officially Brett McMurphy season…
With the Broncos taken (ironically first not last!), who gets the short end of the stick and plays their bowl in Detroit?
This is what used to be called the Camelia Bowl. It’s played in Montgomery.
