Jerry Palm has us going back to Detroit to play South Alabama. I donât see this happening. Exactly 82 teams eligible. A perfect fit!
The most important thing from yesterday is UC will be sitting on their rat infested couches watching Miami play in a bowl game while they eat stale Cheetos!

247Sports now has us in the Potato Bowl vs. Fresno State. We have never played in this particular bowl game.
College Football News has us projected in the Arizona Bowl vs. Colorado State. Not a bad location and opponent.
Sporting News has us in the 68 Ventures Bowl vs. Georgia Southern.
Iâm holding out for the CarQuest Bowl.
ESPN+âs two projections for the bowl in Detroit is Miami in one and Ohio in the other, so that entire projection is disqualifying

Somehow Miami has dodged playing in the Potato Bowl ever since it became a MAC bowl. I hope the streak continues.
How does the Board feel about the Snopp Dog Arizona Bowl. In past years they had âham it upâ type announcers that I found very irritating. Not even sure they did a play by play narration. Also it was on The CW networkâŚnot sure how many homes get that network.
The announcers were barstool guys so that wonât happen this year, personally would love the bowl, definitely could play a good MW team like Colorado state or if we get lucky UNLV

Colorado State went 8-4.
I would be pretty shocked if Ohio U or us ended up in the Detroit Bowl. They probably would like Toledo but doubt UT faithful would be excited about that bowl destination. I figure a 6-6 WMU would be the MACâs least desirable bowl team and thus would end up in Detroit.

I get the CW, even if I didnât watch it in the 90âs. 
The CW is OTA, and has stations everywhere thereâs any TV stations so itâs fine from that perspective. Announcers will be normal now that barstool isnât involved.

Just thinking how spoiled weâve gotten as Miami Football fans ⌠I remember if A GAME got televised during the season how pumped up we would be! Back in the 90s, I got up super-early to watch the MAC Tourney Championship basketball game with Miami vs (the late great) âShaq of the MACâ Gary Trent Jr , and this was the ONLY national game Miami was on that season.
Just hoping for a good match-up, good national publicity for Miami and a Miami W!

Yep. My bad. I think I made the mix-up due to the ESPN announcers saying the MACC was the first college game that Trentâs dad was able to see on TV, as he was incarcerated at the time. Sad that Gary passed away a few years agoâŚ
