That’s a Q3 loss for auburn
Wright St. overcomes a 20-point deficit at NKU to win on a tip-in with 0.2 left.
Not a very good box-out (despite the small push in the back).
Number 20 Arkansas lost by 34 to “top team” Florida.
Number 14 Kansas lost by 24 to “top team” Arizona.
Number 11 Virginia lost by 26 to “top team” Duke.
Unranked but safely in the tournament Villanova lost by 32 to not really “top team” St. John’s.
These all happened yesterday (in addition to Auburn losing lol). Whats his point?
Bruce Pearl is the Jim Cramer of alleged basketball “experts.”
Just over here laughing.
As I noted elsewhere:
15 hours ago I keep hearing the power conference apologists knocking Miami, and I’m like, “bitch, have you seen the major conference teams in the bottom half of the top 25?”
Bad ventriloquism
Thanks for getting us a tight whistle on Tuesday! We appreciate it!
Depends which teams he is talking about. Bottom of the top 20-he is absolutely incorrect. Could we lose by that much to Duke, Michigan, Arizona, perhaps? As many other teams have and would. Their interior size is significant. Could we also pull off an unlikely upset? Yes. Again it depends on what top 20 teams he is talking about. I have no hesistation in saying the teams 5 below and 5 above us, we could beat.
Almost like we’re… ranked appropriately? One thing I’ve found annoying is that I don’t see any of us (or our media supporters) arguing we should be ranked like #3. But in the tier of 8 & 9-loss P5 schools, sure! Seems reasonable.
we’ll know how badly they want Toledo in round 1 of the tournament on Tuesday @ Umass. We’ll also know if UMASS has fully packed it in. Realistic possibility BG moves into 5th
I hope we get to see Charles Barkley weigh in. Dude is as pro-Auburn as you’ll see but he’ll call out something “turrible” if he sees it, and think he’d say that Auburn isn’t a tourney team this year.
15 losses should matter a lot!
Lets just take care of our business. I really don’t want to be in a situation where we are asking the committee to make a choice between us and Ohio State and Indiana for a final spot.
Purdue doing their part to prop up the bottom of the Big Ten.
Gemini, who is Bruce Pearl?
“Bruce Pearl has faced significant, documented NCAA violations and ethical questions throughout his coaching career, leading to a reputation among critics as a “dirty” or rule-breaking coach. His career is marked by a notable pattern of NCAA infractions, a 3-year show-cause penalty, and a high-profile firing for lying to investigators.”
Yet, remarkably, Pearl had the audacity to accuse Illinois of cheating when he was a young assistant at Iowa. This allegation was so remarkable at the time that the NCAA immediately began an investigation.
While the NCAA did uncover some recruiting violations they were unable to substantiate the core of his assertions.
More on good ol’ Bruce Pearl. Secretly recording high school kids. Whatta prince.
Spoiler Alert: Don’t listen to the talking heads that keep moving the goalposts for their buddies. We’re in. Deal with it.
Yeah Purdue keeps losing, and now has propped up Ohio State’s chances. OSU plays IU this coming week…loser really should be out but if IU beats OSU the “powers to be” will likely try to squeeze both of these teams with an lotta losses into the field.
