Just need a couple mega donors…Can someone get Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos to care a little bit about Miami Athletics? ![]()
Aren’t we the 20th richest alumni base or something like that?
They are all donating to OSU and Michigan
Because of their football teams
I hope our alumni isn’t donating to osu and michigan athletics. Great idea… Lets make the rich, richer then wonder why we aren’t better…
That is 100% for sure happening.
Part of it is due to lack of effective engagement with Alumni.
I don’t think majority of my friends even know Miami has a collective. Unfortunately, I don’t think they have done enough to make people care enough to change their ways either.
Some (many?) donate to both OSU and Miami. Our donations are equal.
They need the money equally as well.
I donate to Miami. Period. I don’t donate to Washington University where I went to law school. They have enough damn money. Miami or bust!
I said this earlier in the year, but I can understand a Miamian keeping the likes of OSU as a secondary team. If they want to cheer for them or donate on the side then go ahead, but if Miami is an afterthought then yes I’ll judge their choices.
All donations matter! ![]()
Nice DB, was hoping he would stay.
Ugh. This one is more disappointing because this is just a good MAC player from Belville Mi (which we have like guys)
Yeah I’m not sure he’s going to get a big promotion/pay day but best of luck.
Yarbrough’s playing time this year was mostly the product of injuries in front of him and he did not look like a player fully recovered from the injury he suffered last year. I suspect he will make a lateral move at absolute best.
Luke Evans also announced he’s in the portal. Began the year as a starter and think he got hurt.
One would assume the defensive backfield will be a focus in the portal.
Hopefully it’s a chance for Adrian Walker to start. I think he’s a talented young player.
I agree with Alex on Mychal. I also think Luke Evans is lateral at best. I think these two might be players who were either told or read the tea leaves re future PT. Similar to Mekhi Cooper in basketball.
