You received your SEC-worthy check, Raion. Come on back home.

On another thread I posted how CM at his recruiting day presser mentioned Auburn. That now leads me to believe perhaps Raion has reached out to CM about coming back. It would make sense. He got paid, pretty much didn’t play any significant minutes and now has or will be reentering the portal. He had great success at Miami. I am sure Miami would throw him some green. Coming back here to hopefully continue his MAC success would likely increases his chances of a pro career.

I’d be shocked if he ended up back at Miami.

Suspect he will go where the $$ are best, but who knows, he may settle for less if he’s guaranteed PT.

It is unlikely. But that doesn’t mean I don’t think it wouldn’t be one of the better fits for him.

Sucks but not a surprise.

So what kind of school’s do you think are going to want someone like Perry?

Maybe he goes back to Indiana

He goes from a slightly better than most MAC teams to the #1 team in the country?!

Quite the leap?

I mean their qb came from cal, qb before that came from Ohio

Reggie Virgil had a good season at TTU (you know, the #4 team in the country).

See no reason why Perry can’t do similar. Both great talents.

Kam’s size probably makes the NFL unachievable.

If he can get paid a decent sum for his senior year it probably makes sense for him even if he is not a headliner.

I just hope he has a contract in hand with the money locked in before he officially jumps in the deep end.

One question and I think each team will handle this a bit differently: will guys intending to enter the portal play in the bowl game? Last year, the window opened before most bowls, so I understand new teams didn’t want their guys playing necessarily, but this year the portal officially opens after our bowl.

We know the reality of college sports these days and seems like a last ride with the team should be ok. Just wonder if guys will want to play (and practice for a couple weeks) if they are out the door.
