Chuck said yesterday that some of his guys already have contracts on their phones.
Sad, but not a surprise. At his size, he should grab the money he can get now. I never fault guys for doing this now.
He’s been off the team for months now and never played due to injury. Not a good locker room guy.
While I don’t begrudge anyone for seeking a better opportunity, at the same time once a guy says he’s hitting the portal I’m not sure I’d want them around the team anymore anyway. Nothing personal.
Damn I’m 0-2 on hopeful keeps… Perry and Trick were different… Next man up

Frankly I would’ve been stunned if Trick or Perry didn’t transfer, especially since Trick is a RS Junior who may already have his Miami degree.

Silver lining… That frees up some serious $$$ that was being offered to keep both guys. Let’s see what we can find in the portal.

Truth is after the two in the portal, who else from the 2 deep in the MACC would you care if they went the way of the portal. I am not saying I want anyone else to go, but beyond those two, maybe Weaver, I don’t think we have significant difficulty replacing.

It sucks Miami doesn’t have more NIL $$. If we retained our best players from last 3-4 years it would have been scary how good we wouldbe

It sucks to lose both guys but I would have been pleasantly surprised if either guy stayed.
Can’t blame someone for making money, just hope they have a contract. Even less blame for those who leave with a Miami degree
