More than likely going to promote Gus to OC. Coach Martin has always called the offensive plays and will more than likely continue.
Not done. Now we are, what I believe, in a good position. There are big targets in the portal that are “waiting” for their dream offer. Schools decided to go a different direction and that dream opportunity the player though was there, is not. Who is there waiting to pick them up? We are!!!
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Transfer Portal Update:
There are 10,576 football players that have entered as of Wednesday morning. Of those 10.5K who jumped in, 6,846 are still active and looking for a new team.
There aren’t 6,846 open scholarships much less roster spots in Division 1.
I would wait and see on that
When does portal close
Deadline to enter is the 16th. In theory they just need to be enrolled, so Miami having a J-term actually gives them more time to sign guys than some other schools

Yes, 1/16 is the day the portal closes as far as entering the portal. But there is no actual deadline for players in the portal to sign with another team.

I’ve said it before, to the guys who leave as grad transfers… best of luck and Love & Honor. They did what students are supposed to do: they earned Miami degrees. It’s the same as any other student graduating in May and then going to another place for grad school.

I would imagine this is directly related to the two safeties that have come in from the transfer portal. (Minich and Tatum).
