Did not play last year as a true freshman, has all 4 years of eligibility left. Was a 3 star ranked 42 in the class of 2025 by 24/7 (for reference Ehrlich was ranked 72).

Maybe it was neither. Maybe he was welcome to stay with no guarantee of playing time or money. Maybe he just wanted a chance to play more. I liked him in his limited action but he was a very short DL
