About 20 years ago, a QB friend of mine transferred from Yale to Notre Dame. He’s doing alright.
Ivy League bans graduate students from playing, even with remaining eligibility, and he’s getting his degree:
As for his academics, Craig — along with most of his senior teammates who also entered the transfer portal — prepared in advance so he could graduate with a Harvard degree and still be able to join a new team in the spring as a mid-year transfer.
“I’ve always been prepared to graduate a semester early, whether that was if I was going to be going to the draft or if I was going to grad-transfer,” Craig said. “To have that opportunity, it is really a blessing for me, and all other players that are in the same position as me will all benefit from being able to leave school in the winter.”
Bizarre situation unfolding in Seattle. Washington says it will not execute the portal entry paperwork.
Huh….i didn’t know Syracuse invested in its football program
Nice company.
Not Texas Tech?
Texas Tech does not have to look at FCS players.
I was replying to Weaver to ‘Cuse, not Ky Wilson.
He will go to Texas Tech after Miami! That is the way of the world!
Cuse is a step up in Conference but NOT in Team.
I see this as a lateral move for Weaver.
This one is disappointing - maybe somebody knows what the money difference was
Agree - he should stay and wait for something better than Syracuse.
He should stay where he was. But that is his decision, not mine.
Great sign that we are in the mix for a couple of Big 12 offers.
