Per the NY Times (a source I shudder to cite) here is the cost of doing business in the portal era:
QB: $1M to $4M
OT: $600K to $1.3M
RB: $400K to $900K
WR: $500Kto $1M
TE: $300K to $900K
Edge rushers: $500K to $2M
Interior DL: $500K to $1.5M
Corners: $250K to $1M
Safeties: $250K to $900K

I don’t know. If a young coach knew he could come to Miami and run HiS offense, with overall input from the HC, I can see us being attractive.
otherwise, you get old people, like Mike Tomlin’s coordinators. They’ll be completely fine with calling stupid plays and ignoring 75% of the field and largely ignoring your best offensive player
He represented Michigan State at the 2024 Big Ten Media days. Started at CB for Michigan State in 2023 then had season ending injury in the 2024 opener. Bulked up and transfer to Northwestern to play safety.
