I heard a third hand rumor that the FBI could be involved, but not sure why. Based on the provenance seemed plausible. Might get interesting if that turns out to be true.
Yeah, I canât believe heâd be fired âwith causeâ for having a bottle in his desk. Hell, Captain Frank got a DUI while blackout drunk, and they were like, âdonât worry about it, youâre cool.â

If the alleged student who he was in a relationship with was under 21 (and he was furnished alcohol to), I can see why this was cause for termination.
However if the student was 21 (and she wasnât working for him) I donât see whatâs illegal here?

There has to be more. One or even two infractions of storing a bottle of alcohol in his desk and drinking with coaches after a game doesnât seem like enough to fire a coach. Now if it was drinking alcohol from the bottle in his desk after banging a nursing student on the desk, then that is a different matter entirely!!
