This pitching staff is anxiety-inducing, but thank God for the offense. Big series against Ohio coming up this weekend. They’re only 13-14 (1-2), but they were picked #2 preseason behind us.

Getting First Year Madilyn Reeves lots of innings this season to get her ready for the next three years. She’s getting more effective with every outing.
Relying mostly on the two experienced transfers - Addy Jarvis and Ashley Hitchcock - to make us competitive this season. This will be the only season in Oxford for both.
So far so good.
Yesterday’s win moved us up to #34 in the Massey rankings, behind only Louisiana and Boston University among mid-majors.
With a game at Pitt coming up next week it’s worth noting that Miami is ranked 5th in the Massey rankings among ACC teams - behind only Duke, VT, Florida State and Clemson.

No but I watched F1 Qualifying from Australia earlier today and it’s already Sunday there. At this stage in my life Saturday and Sunday look remarkably like Wednesday.

Freshman Madilyn Reeves, our new ace, threw a 6 inning no hitter in the first game today. She is now 11-2 on the season and this was our 14 straight win. Jenna G and Katie S both hit their 23rd home run.
