Thursday is media day, note Ryan Sullivan being Miami’s player representative…my pals and I have been praying all summer for him to be our captain and this might be a good sign… although WMU is sending their goalie so maybe not 
Also keep an eye out to see if we’re #9 on the preseason poll tomorrow

We were picked 9th
We did get 10 more points than last year though.
Edit: there were two more ballots this year and more points awarded…inflation

Well it wasn’t 29 last place votes and one first place
Hopefully we can be like CC and make a significant jump next year. Last year they were in 7th with 89 points this year they’re in third with 200 and a first place vote
I like the Tanyon Bajzer shoutout, he became one of my favorites last year. Drove me nuts the first half of the year when the forwards were bad/not scoring every single weekend and the lineup wouldn’t change. Even scratched to play dmen as forwards over him. Then when he finally comes in he averages half a point a game in his first 4 games and finishes out the season as a regular. Maybe there was an undisclosed injury but if not I think he should’ve gotten a chance earlier.
I also have a special place in my heart for the guys from Ohio 
Hopefully he takes a big step forward this year with the competition getting tighter up front

Behind a paywall but a couple things-
I think we could have been ranked lower than 43 ¯_(ツ)_/¯
He seems to have forgotten how many teams are in the NCHC…
Points out Ambrosio, Waldron, Fillion, and Quinn as impact players
Blames mostly our bad defending for our woes
He thinks Dahlmeir is our best goaltender and will get the starting job yet he’s concerned that having him play so many minutes with such a bad team in front of him will kill his confidence and “ruin” him?
