Great first half for Bucks. But…Need to get back to business to start the second half.
OL looks extremely solid.

OL looks extremely solid.
That’s an understatement.
Herbie seems unable to contain his admiration for the Buckeye machine playing today.
Nuck the Futs……this is a lose-lose game for
Most college football fans
Especially for Miami RedHawks/Washington Huskies hybrids!
The score of the ‘63 game I mentioned was 42-14 at the start of the fourth quarter. This one is 41-15. Can Oregon get 23 insnswered points like Wisconsin did?
No. They did outscore OSU 21-7, but game never in doubt.
Smith wows.
Many years ago Old School Scholar ( he stopped posting when we moved to the current board) and his wife and I had a small tailgate at Akron. Ron bought a couple of pounds of Kangaroo meat and we had kangaroo burghers. The highlight ( or perhaps lowlight) was when Zippy walked by and Ron offered him a kangaroo burgher. The reaction of the Oregon duck in the commercial was reminiscent of Zippy, who put his paws over his eyes and walked sadly away.
Tuning in to watch the ND-Georgia game.
I realize, with the day delay, ESPN had to scramble with the pre-game coverage, but the Georgia homer gal in the studio is too much!
Oh, and, GO IRISH!!
Interesting: Irish lead Georgia 13-3 at the half. They led Miami 14-3,at the half…
Also ESPN studio crew gets the award for the worst TV shoe mix in football history!
I realize it’s the SEC Network crew but they spent a lot of time during halftime focusing on Georgia rather than the team that is actually currently up by 10.
It’s pretty bad when I’m defending NOTRE DAME for not getting the proper amount of coverage during a televised college football game.
Damn! 99 yards. And just think. We beat NIU and they beat ND. Crazy world of CFB.
Make that 17.
Marcus outsmarted Kirby!
Wow! I didn’t expect this result!
Every team with a 1st round bye lost. Too much time off?
I watched that NIU-ND game and NIU absolutely controlled the line of scrimmage. Weird.
Notre Dame 28 Miami 3
Notre Dame 23 Georgia 10
How about that!
NIU 16 - Notre Dame 14
Miami 20 - NIU 9
I think the amount of time off was normal for teams playing in the old NYD format
Here’s the biggest revelation I see this bowl season: now that all the teams can legally pay players, suddenly Alabama and Georgia aren’t invincible. I’m no Day or Franklin fan but I am pretty sure it’s an All Big Ten final coming up.
Now that everybody can pay the players and now that you have to win the games on the field rather than hypothetically.
