OU TD Parker to Navarro. 26-7 Bobcats.
With a couple minutes left in the half, down 20-7 Jax State did not go for it on 4th and 7 from the 11, and then to add insult to injury, they missed the FG. OU then went right down the field to score another TD w 41 seconds left in the half. Now 27-7 OU at the half.
OU w 16 first downs and 309 yards of total offense at half. Looks like they picked up right where they left off when playing us in the MACC.

OU was really rolling in first half and went a tad conservative in the second. They did burn over 7 minutes of clock before they settled for a FG that ended being the final margin of victory.
Only non CFP bowl to feature champions from two leagues. Good win for the MAC! (tempered a bit because it was courtesy of the Kittens).

Myrtle Beach Bowl
I’m planning to drive down to Conway, SC on Monday to watch the Myrtle Beach Bowl between Coastal and UTSA. It appears Coastal is down to their third and fourth string QB. Neither has ever taken a snap in a game. Both QB1 and QB 2 are in the portal.
The portal is proof that you can’t have enough QB depth.

I decided early this morning not to drive down to the Myrtle Beach Bowl today. It was 37 degrees at kickoff and felt like 22 degrees. I knew Coastal was going to be way short handed - down 30 some players from the regular season including both top QB.
As I suspected, the were never in the game, losing 44-15.
I’m all for going to a single portal opening - a 30 day window following every team’s spring practice. If they do that, they can move National Signing Day back to early February.
That would make the non-CFP bowls relevant again!
