Reports are that Coach Ken is getting the San Jose job. Heās promised not to bring the triple option.
Thatās a weird move to handicap a coach and make him agree to not run the offense heās spent most of his career working on. If youāre an AD and donāt want your football program to make a long-term shift to a run-heavy option offense thatās fine, but donāt hire someone who specializes in it.
I agree. But maybe he thought it was the only way to win at Navy and feels a different offense will work at sjsu

Heās said before that if he got another gig, he probably wouldnāt run the triple option, and he only did it at Navy out of necessity. (Obviously it worked quite well until it didnāt.)

Unless Michigan does something weird, it should be a minimal impact on the carousel, just need to promote Moore and find a new OC and DC (assuming Minter leaves which is likely)
