Lost all 4 at home to CMU to fall to 4-4 in conference play.
Head to Toledo this coming Friday for a 4-game series.
Lost the DH on Friday and won Saturday. Game cancelled today and will be made up at a later date according to the UT website. Play Wright State on Tuesday 3:00 PM in Cincinnati (assume on UC’s field) for the first game of the Nuxhall Classic…then on to a 4 game seres up at NIU.
Defeated Wright State in the Nuxhall Classic and then lost to Xavier 17-2.
Split the series against NIU…play EMU next with 1 game on Saturday, DH on Sunday, and 1 game on Monday.
RedHawks hurlers having a tough time getting outs this season - have given up double digit runs in eight of our thirty games. Need to recruit a couple more like Sam Bachman…
Hope he has a great career (Bachman). And hopefully, his back issues are not long-term. Supposedly, just back spasms. Should be off the IL quickly and pitching in AA.

Pitching staff gave up double digit runs twice in the 1-3 losing series against EMU last weekend. That’s ten outings this season where it appears we were throwing BP. We desperately need some help on the mound!

Team is 16-21 (11-13) so not looking great, but we did beat IU last Tuesday.

Picked up a win in the opener at Kent yesterday, too.
Split the DH yesterday 4-3 and 9-10 and lost the final game in the series 10-17 today.
Next up a homestand against OU starting Friday 4/29.

I was at the Sunday game of the Ohio series. Good Lord, what a perfect day for baseball! A bit breezy but it was sending the ball out of the ballpark.
Temperature in the 70’s. Clear blue skies, and a packed house for a Miami 9-7 win!
That ballpark is just the best!

Make-Up game at Toledo rescheduled for Wednesday at 3:00 PM.
Miami will then head to Illinois for a 3-game series on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. Games can be streamed on BTN+.
Lost both games of the double header at Illinois today. Pitching staff didn’t give up double digit runs - so that’s a positive.

Regarding the MAC Tournament, how many teams make the tournament? The MAC website indicates that the highest seed hosts and it is over 4 days. I assume 6 or 8 teams make it?
