As of right now we still have Amber Tretter and Brooke Blumenfeld, both post players.
This type of player would not fit Glenn Box’s system in the least.

I am glad you pointed that out to those concerned about the post.
We arguably have the best post player in the MAC coming back and I saw a lot of good things from Brooke inside before she was hurt.
Losing DeVries will hurt but at a minimum I would expect Coach Box to be looking at international players in addition to the portal to give us more depth inside.
I am going to trust Box.
When you look at where we are right now compared to where we were when he took over it ought to be a piece of cake filling out the roster!

Sahar Nusseibeh went from DeUnna Hendrix’s staff to head coach at Canusius.

Frankie Smith left Charlie’s staff for the head job at Saginaw Valley State.

We seem to improve every year and I bet there’s a GA out there ready to be the next in line. MAC schools are awesome that way. We might be watching the next star and not even realize it’s happening.

Does this make any sense? I guess they are in a better league because they get destroyed by UConn women twice a year. They haven’t had a winning season since 2019-2020. How much $ realistically could Butler be giving her? I honestly don’t know but that has to be the deciding factor yes?
Miami has minimal if any NIL money for woman’s hoops…but Butler can’t be much different. The NIL money in women’s hoops drops off a cliff fast outside the top programs. I doubt money is a factor. Honestly in her case, and I don’t know Singer’s family history to know if she has US citizenship, but if not, the immigration headache around being able to get paid probably would cost more than she’s getting, so she may just be playing for zero NIL.
I would believe she is “Playing for Pizza”. Loved that book. Seriously, I don’t think there would be much, if any, monetary advantage to the transfer.

There are inaccuracies in your post but I am not at liberty to clarify them other than to say Miami WBB is not a pauper. I can’t speak to Butler or any other school.
I also think Tamar made a mistake leaving. Miami WBB is a significantly better program than Butler. Especially a comparison of the HC. Box is one of the nation’s best.

Bummer to see her leave but if it wasn’t in her heart to stay well, that’s showbiz. And if for whatever reason she was told go move on, that’s also showbiz. And if there are wavy lines and you can hear hot action but can’t see a damn thing because you’re a cheap bastard and it’s 1988, that’s Cinemax.
