Another Glenn Box “bang” post in the last twenty minutes.
VanTimmern’s father played at WMU. McClure was on the All Freshman team at Ohio.
And Allendale is about an hour drive north of Kalamazoo. I’m sure it’s nice being close to home. Friends and family and all that.

This is from Evan Miyakawa on MBB, but applies equally to the women’s game, so think about this when you watch how Glenn Box is smartly manuevring the portal:

Coach is once again stocking up on guards, just like last year. He’s proven his system works best when he’s running guards in and out.
Question: how high did we end up in the rankings last season? 70 something? I ask because with more depth, we might jump that pretty well.
NCAA Net Rankings as of 4/5/26 we were 75.

Bluesman- do you have last year’s stats on these transfers? We still need at least two post players .
Post players for women, like the men, are very expensive. As in 7 figure expensive. Plus when you look at how Glenn Box runs his offense in particular it is based on motion and spacing. So having good guards and wings is essential. And if you look at what he has signed so far, they fit that system. Note, the height of 3 of the 4 signees.
As to your stats questions, there is more to these players than the pure stats, but Mcclure averaged over 12ppg at OU, before her injury. Juliana Lamendola this year averaged 11.5ppg and 6.4 rebounds per game at Grand Canyon. All 4 were highly touted coming out of high school
Noted - thanks. As you know we lost through the portal our two post players. Approximately 60 % plus shots in a game result in rebound opportunties. This part of the game is as you know very important. I like Box and he has done an excellent job - we need however some post presence esp if we are going to be competitive outside of the MAC. Yes I know post players ( men and women )have high NIL price tags but we need at least some minimal post presence.
She looks to be like 6’8? Wow!
