White Death

Oddly, North of I-70 is not getting hammered. Parts of I-75 were shut down.

Final total at our house in Clermont County was about 11-12 inches. Hard to get an accurate reading because it was blowing hard during that final punch.

Either way, largest blast I can remember except possibly a major storm when I first moved here permanently in the mid-90s that dropped about a foot.

And following the proceeding cold front that has us stuck largely in the 20s the next 10-plus days, the snow won’t be going anywhere for weeks.

Love it! Thanks!

Went from grass visible in the yard to thigh deep snow in about 3 days . But in Montana, that’s expected and doesn’t make national news.

Looking better outside. Roads much better compared to three hours ago.

Apparently NE Ohio not as fortunate.

My dog went outside this morning and said, “Motherfu!ker.”

2”-3” of white death in Dayton. But over an inch of rain last night beneath it. I had the driveways and sidewalks all cleared in less than an hour

Drove up to Michigan to deal with some plumbing issues in the house. I’ve had to shovel 4 times in the past week and a half - had 6-8 inches over night. I’m ready to head back to Butler County tomorrow!

Tornado warnings within the last hour. Supposedly, Waynesville had a minor touchdown (not six points).

Ironically, neighbor and I were discussing Generac this afternoon.

I was watching Max Velocity during last night’s storms.it was quite scary. His storm chasers were showing a verified tornado on the ground in Arkansas when the warning came up for Oxford, Hamilton, Trenton and Middletown. There were apparently two tornados - one just south of Lebanon and one north. The northern one is the one you mentioned. Touched town briefly near RT 48 according to what he said.

More intense storms in that area expected today and Wednesday.

Got pretty lively last night

From this screen shot it looks like last night’s storms messed up the Oxford web cam.

And…Here we go again!

Tornado warnings.

Good to hear!

Major wind here in Eastgate. Knocked my neighbors’ pine tree over and one of our umbrellas but otherwise no major issues. That was a doozy.

Hope everyone else is OK.
