Toledo

Last year Dick tracked the plus/minus of the three centers to prove what we all knew- Ayah was way better than Beck who was way better than Eli

I would love the same analysis done on ICL.

Brown makes a deep 2 with his foot on the line, interferes with his own shot that was going in. 6th year player has to be smarter.

Do you think Bake ever gets tired of congratulating the defense every time Precious has a shot blocked? It has to get exhausting after 5 years.

The Knolls must also be on J-term.

This was supposed to be the special team and we are currently 4-6 vs division 1 teams and down 11 at home at halftime.

Toledo better coached. Shumate open threes for Toledo we step back contested.

I want them to be good, and there’s still time, but why was this supposed to be a “special team”? Because of our veterans? It’s not like our 4th, 5th, and 6th year players are 1st team all-conference.

The lack of defensive intensity is disturbing. Toledo is getting any shot that they want offensively.

Well the extension to Owens and the discussions around the team on things like Hawktalk (the radio show).

Werent you telling me we were going to win 20 games when I complained that we lost to Western Illinois?

I did, though with this schedule, winning 20 shouldn’t have been indicative of a special team, lol.

I’m not sure I’ll ever get used to J Term. How many home games do we have during its run?

Good start to the half- ride these guys

Seemingly, as many as possible…to avoid the pain of too many eyes watching mediocre BB…and “too many” is still a very small number

Actually, a very close game…score and stats…could go right down to the wire.

Ugh…yeah, as far as Miami goes, this is about as experienced a team that we’ve had (especially at guard), granted the definition of “special” for Miami has been lowered significantly… we allegedly added a BC transfer, have solid a 6th year role player back in Ayah, supposed to have some height finally (in Beck, Eli and Ames, but none have really contributed)…and a returning “star” in Dalonte (5th year)…yet our coaching and game planning are poor…and our offense solely consists of jacking treys, defense non-existent at times.

Anyway typical Miami under Jack…maybe they get hot, and start shooting at a higher clip…but it’s fools gold IMO…until we start to D up and attack inside, we’ll never be good.

He’s not as selfish a player, but sometimes Dae Dae’s shot selection reminds me of Nike’s.

At times for sure…
