Even worse when you have Burrow, Brown, and Chase in your three Fantasy leagues (one in each).
Two weeks is enough sample size. We suck. Let’s hope MU sports are better because we are back to 6 or less wins. This team sucks. QB is not good.
My point is that Browning isn’t good but…nobody else is either. Can’t blame him or Joe’s injury for everything.
if we traded for Jameis Winston or whatever available 2nd string QB out there how many of our problems would that really fix? Even if joe hadn’t gotten hurt we’d still be struggling to win
I usually am not in the fire Zac Taylor crowd but the team morale is low, they’re unorganized, sloppy, there’s poor play calling, he’s probably lost the locker room too atp.
Maybe it’s time to hand Dan Pitcher the reins?
Agreed. This team stinks. Denver is owning them, and they are a good but not great team. The Bengals are non-competitive against them. It’s too early to make this decision, but another game or two like this, and I would be looking to get what I could for Trey
It’s very clear we are shit. Al golden showers is not good and we are missing like 7 players to be competitive. Just feels like 1993 again.
QB is hesitant and moves like c3po. He’s not good. Better than some but Them’s the breaks with our money tied up in 4 players.
Offense is horrible tonight. Not helpful all the penalties pushing them back and having to get 15-20 for every first down.
Complete team meltdown. Players look like they have given up on the season
Let’s hope MU sports and or the Reds pull up the slack. Sad deal because there isn’t a dominant team in the division this year. Oh well. Bengals mgt needs a rethink
Reds sweeping the dodgers this week, MU hockey sweeping Ferris State trust
Whatever good juju the bengals took to win week 1 and 2 they must’ve siphoned from week 3 and 4. Hopefully the forces have now balanced out and equilibrium is restored and next week will be okay
10 penalties in the second quarter alone! I don’t care if healthy Joe Burrow is out there, they aren’t overcoming that. Serious coaching issues.
This team imploded for the second game in a row. I mentioned above, but if I were the Browns, I would be looking to make drastic changes. Duke Tobin and Zac Taylor would be on the hottest of hot seats. I would be floating player availability to try to get some extra draft capital for all players that I didn’t expect to re-sign in the off-season. Something has to change with the teams scouting and drafting. Burrow was a gift to this organization, and the team couldn’t miss the following year when given a choice between Chase and Sewell. Other than that, so many of their recent draft picks have been busts.
My anecdote; I remember watching the 2021 NFL draft. The Bengals needed OL help desperately. First round they took Chase. Then comes their 5th pick in the 2nd round. There was one OL with a 1st round grade left (I think it was Tevin Jenkins, whose career ended up derailed by injuries) and a few high 2nd round grades left on the board. Rather than grabbing one, the team traded back nine spots. The player who was taken with the Bengals original pick, C Landon Dickerson, is a great great player who just signed an $84 M contract extension this offseason. Four OL went off the board before the Bengals made their selection. Jackson Carman, with a late 3rd round grade. Duke Tobin said they were going to select him either way, and they were happy to get an extra pick for moving back. The pundits bashed the selection. He could have almost surely been taken with their 3rd round pick, while getting another starter in the 2nd. With hindsight, not only was Carman a terrible player, the team also supposedly knew about statutory rape allegations against him when he was selected. He had motivation concerns as well. How the Bengals graded him so highly compared to everyone else, and were completely wrong about it should have been cause for concern about those in charge long ago.
(The extra pick they acquired by trading back was used to take Tyler Shelvin. He was released after the 2022 season)
All that is to say, if I owned the Bengals, I would be furious at how badly the team has been run at the management level.
I am a Steelers fan so a Bengals loss is good for the Yinzers. But that Bengals teamed I watched last night was horrible. This is what happens when you put almost all your eggs into three players, (Burrows, Chase, Higgins) and design the entire offense around them.
Why not? He’s never been good.
So many sad hillbillies this morning. I’m not judging as I’m one. Thank goodness the Reds made it to the playoffs. Ain’t happening in football.
Team needs a ACTUAL NFL Coach not the current CLOWN
Who would you want to take his place? Someone with the bengals budget in mind.
