I’ve seen enough of this coach. Bad schemes. I miss Marvin. There I said it. We didn’t win any playoff games under him, but the team was better constructed so we always made the playoffs. This team is just terrible.

You guys are LUCKY in Ohio. I’m a New Yorker and both teams are dumpster fires. Good thing I’m first a Steelers fan.
I am finding the browns more compelling these days as at least they have some MAC dudes on the roster. They played a much better game against the Vikings than we did. Lost, but it was a good game. Bengals gotta take a long hard look at what they can do with the weak QB hand they have. Rb is feeble. Defense stinks. Damn. Long year coming.
Frankly the Browns are actually in a decent position IF they could ever get a decent and consistent QB. Elite D and a seemingly great rookie draft class give them something to build.
Granted I think the Browns will find a way to mess it up, probably from Haslam or stupid bad Browns luck. But you never know.

My Steelers just have to be average to win the AFC North. What a sad state of affairs.

I’m wondering if this is a “get me a QB who’ll run the plays I call” from Zac Taylor. It looked like the offense ran their own things in the 4th quarter on Sunday and ZT is upset that his genius wasn’t on display for all to see
Regardless of whether Taylor is half the genius he claims to be, Browning isn’t Burrow. If he won’t stick to the plays called, he isn’t good enough to make up for any mistakes he makes in audibles.
Bengals confirm Flacco will start week six. Granted, the UW guy (name slipping my mind as I type this, prolly for the best) was a hack, so maybe that’s the ownership group acknowledging it. But, Flacco has no knowledge of the schemes. How does that make sense week one? Only the Bengals can pull this kind of a manure maneuver. I hope he channels the Joe Flacco from 12 years ago.
Certainly out of the ordinary but not completely unheard of. Flacco had less than 2 weeks with the Browns before starting for the Browns in 2023, lost the first and then won the last 4 regular season games.
Baker Mayfield was brought in by the Rams in 2022 and after just two days with the team lead them to a win, he didn’t start but the starter only played one series. He would only win 2 of the last 5 games on a less talented Rams team.
Even though they lost Bengals offense seemed better with Flacco.

Yeah after the first half the offense seemed to click. Needed a little time to adjust
Was a competitive game. We aren’t gonna set the world on fire this year but our division blows so who knows.

Flacco knows what he’s doing. I don’t remember him having the quality of receivers Cincinnati does, when he was with the Ravens.
Flacco said his kids were excited because of who he gets to throw to in Cincy.
