Not sure where to put this, but apparently Merrimack had to start the emergency goalie (their student manager) in the home opener because all three rostered goalies are out. (Two injured, one on NCAA suspension.)
Let’s play!
Spencer Marquis, Merrimack’s student equipment manager who hadn’t played since his senior year of high school in 2020, lost 3-2 to Stonehill in overtime. An amazing effort, IMO.

How is access with the new staff going for you? What Berg did was utterly unacceptable, particularly since I thought you went out of your way to not go after him too hard. Hope things are different this year.
Bonk: when you were writing about the Cyclones, did you happen to know Andy Mac Williams? When I was a kid my brother and I loved Andy’s play by play calls for the Cincinnati Stingers, and I believe he did play by play one or two years with Cyclones as well.
They’ve been great so far. Coach Noreen has said to contact him any time for interviews, and I’ve obviously talked to all three assistants at length as well.
Only met him one time and talked for about five seconds. I want to say it was at the Gardens in the late 90s.
I appreciate whoever for listening to my complaints, the hockey social media accounts have been much more active recently ![]()
Cool, let me try!
MORE 80s ROCK.
IT’S A HOCKEY RINK, NOT A DANCE CLUB!
Also, now that the recruiting dust has settled somewhat, I crunched the numbers on Miami’s commits.
Of the 22 commits listed on eliteprospects.com, 14 are already playing in the USHL. That’s huge.
(And turn down the volume) ![]()
Hockey on the hawktalk tn! Anthony Noreen is about to be on in a few seconds
For those of us who had to run their daughter’s soccer practice, what were the highlights?
I haven’t watched all of it myself yet but the replay is available on Facebook! Dylan Moulton was on too
Excellent, thank you.
