What’s more of a bummer is that $200k (or whatever the NIL deal is) took an all conference MAC player and stuck him on an SEC bench. This reminds me of the days of 105 scholarships……big teams would just hoard talent

I think,over the long haul, the removal of the 85 scholarship limit will have a greater effect on the competitiveness of Miami football than NIL.

Sounds like the NCAA is removing the spring transfer portal window.
It would be funny if they were like “we’re removing the transfer window and making every day a transfer day. Except Christmas. Or for some reason Arbor Day.”

No matter how it all evolves, anything the NCAA gets into is usually more of a mess after they have finished making whatever changes cross their minds.

Arbor Day is too important to too many people to have it marred by bad tramsfer news. That change is long overdue!
