…and in response to transfer question - yes you can transfer to an Academy
(but must be before 23 when starting)
Usually it is very small number of active duty enlisted entering after few years of service or very small number of regular college transfers. Not many take these routes.

Any bets on whether or not Aveon will opt to play in the Cure Bowl? From other “in the know” posters, sounds like coaches have offered him a chance to play if he so chooses.
Next announcement coming at 10 am. Sounds like another player staying. Ty Wise? Ugwu?

And Woullard. Candidly, all impact players. Come back and make it into CFP then one has a much better opportunity of playing at the next level than sitting as a 2nd string player at some other school as has happened with several transfers recently.

He said we weren’t losing another game after Gabbert’s injury. He technically never said anything about that streak being limited to this season.

Happy to have Jack back. I still think it would be wise to go after a TE in the portal. I know we have an offer to a JUCO TE as well. Not much depth right now in that room.

We definitely need to add a quality TE. I’m sure I will get attacked, as usual, but Coldiron just seems average to me. We need a big athletic TE.

I know Chuck always talks about how the team had “stupid expectations” heading into the game against the ‘Canes.
Those expectations might not be so stupid anymore.

After the season they ended up having, it’s easier to see why their expectations were so lofty heading into the Miami of Florida game.
