Pittsburgh Steelers 2026 Season Thread

It was a win.

That gets an A.

They won. Darnell Washington dribbled a guys head.

Well. What an offense

The OL can’t run block or pass block. Bad combo for generating offense.

Especially with an immobile QB

Spencer Anderson blocks the wrong Patriot.

Methinks one thing will come true, much to the pleasure of some parts of the fanbase…. Tomlin won’t be here to keep the team over .500.

The rest of the north won their games.

Aside from Manning, as the Steelers will never get that bad, who are the other good multi year starters aiming for a first round grade at QB?

The Browns haven’t won yet. Eventually the lightning will stop in Tampa.

And Ravens lost.

Hm. My sports app is incorrect on the Browns. Thanks! I’ll hold out hope

It’s very weird that the Steelers organization doesn’t view the offense as the primary way to score points. Granted, I listened to the game on the radio, but it sounded like a Tomlin-Classic…

The Steelers need a functioning quarterback. They’ve needed that even before Big Ben retired.

30 points today. Yes. 30 points.

Warren was fantastic, and the run-blocking with two new starters was quite good.

And then there was this. Yep…That’s a late flag!

Warren was great. Harmon huge play to seal it.

Too bad Warren had to trip on the 12 yard line. Made it a little more tense at the end than it had to be.

Pleasantly surprised; new Bengals defense seems to be a paper tiger….

Porter to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick.

I’m somewhat OK with that. Porter wanted big bucks and the Steelers didn’t think he was a premier db…Yet.

And I sense that he may have been a distraction for this season anyhow.

Of course…Signing him for 25 million (annually) would have been my preference. The guarantees just were not there.

"Porter was under contract. It is hard to defend someone who doesn’t play whenever their current deal is still active. Had he suited up and played, there was a chance the Steelers and he could have agreed to a deal in the offseason.

He still could have been a Steeler for life."

Edits minor. Get outa here.

I’m happy with the return. I just worry that this sets a bad example for other Steelers players in the future. But I guess they just wanted him out

Let him be the Cowboys problem.

Pretty sure Steelers are going to regret this after watching Ashante Samuel get absolutely abused by Jamar Chase and Tee Higgins.

It’s not the 70s anymore. This whole “no guaranteed money” and “no negotiating during the season” has stop…

Paying your draftees used to be the norm. I think this was not an ideal move.
