Who gets to the playoffs year after year without having a franchise QB? I think that is a list of one. The issue is the QB position. Fix it. We are not ever going to the Super Bowl again until that issue is fixed. Trade whoever it takes to get a stud QB, even if it means losing for a year or two.

So many QB options. Russ won’t come back for a year at the league minimum so I’ll bid him farewell.
Steelers aren’t going anywhere next year (maybe 11-6), so let’s see what Fields can do.

We all know what Wilson’s ceiling is. We don’t know what Field’s ceiling is. Maybe it’s not much higher. Under the right coaching, I would like to find out.
But there’s no point bringing in an expensive FA since the next few years are going to be rebuilding.
What’s the…”right coaching”? Tomlin will be back and he’s a defensive guy. Arthur Smith, unless someone makes the mistake of hiring him as a head coach, will be back. So who exactly is going to develop Fields? Fields can be a bridge until we hopefully draft a real QB. Between Chicago and Pittsburgh he’s shown his ceiling.
I’m not convinced that both Tomlin and Smith will be back.

If Smith can turn Tannehill into a successful QB, he can do it with Fields. Tomlin just needs to stay F out of the offense
I don’t believe anybody’s untouchable. I would see what you could get right now for Watt Highsmith Minkah anybody. Can’t hurt to find out. See if there really is interest out there in trading for Tomlin. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
