As a long suffering Bengals fan, I am sure they can still find a way to lose this game… Pittsburgh D putting alot of pressure on Burrow.
Steelers should just donate their playoff spot to the Bengals at this point
Don’t worry. Bengals are choke artists
You almost predicted it.
Well I was wrong that the Bengals would lose, but they sure tried like heck to blow it,…
that’s for sure. Neither team deserved a win in this game.
I think both teams deserve a win just for surviving a chill factor of 10 degrees for 3 hours. I can’t imagine how you hand feels when you smash your fingers on one of those cold helmets st full speed. Ouch!
You hold the Bengals to 19 points, you should win. They came close to getting it into field goal range there at the end. Now it’s just wait and see to determine their playoff opponent. Probably Baltimore in Baltimore. That certainly won’t be easy.
Point of clarification…
It’s “So you’re telling there’s a chance?” I’ve never understood how so many people can’t properly quote arguably the most memorable line from that film.
=>Luke, I am your father.
Exactly.
Russ will still get some ridiculous 3 year contract. Really hoping it’s not with the Steelers.
I think some of the Wilson luster has worn off. If they exit the playoffs early (which I assume will happen with a loss at Baltimore), I believe they will sign Fields. Or maybe trade for Pickett (not).
I can’t really blame Wilson when this offense has consistently declined since Tomlin started coaching, and especially since Ben retired. Our passes are always 3-5 step drops, and our runs are always the same as well. This has been the case with 3 difference OCs and at least as many QBs. The only consistent wart has been Mike T. If the Steelers win another playoff game with him as HC, I’ll eat my oldest Army boot.
Now we’re seeing what Sean Payton saw with Wilson in Denver.

Russell Wilson will forever be a hero in my eyes!
Crazy how Wilson didn’t try harder to get out of bounds (or throw the ball away) on one of those last plays. In fairness to him, though, was that next pass over the middle was perfect and should have caught.
Clock Management is not a Steelers strength (recently).
Watching all the other teams play, it’s obvious that the Steelers have a lot of deficiencies that they were able to overcome earlier in the season. Pass receiving corps has no depth at all. Pickens let them down yesterday and beyond him there’s just not enough. And I wonder if Pickens is even reliable. Remember they’re playing without their number one and number three draft picks from this past draft. The game plan of run run pass just doesn’t cut it in 2024/2025. Perhaps most importantly, the three coaches in 50 years is admirable, but is it time to move on.
Let Pickens be someone else’s problem.
