Harris running tough…AND broke a big run!
Fields fumbles the first snap…And is solid the rest of the game. Fourth-down stop late was a coaching issue.
Still need that elusive #2 receiver.
D looks strong. Very strong. TJ? Great game with two strip sacks taken away by penalties!
I say we roll with Fields and sink or swim with him. Best case….he develops with Smith and we wins lost season game two. Worst case, we get Shedur……if he can still play by next season
Not going to win too many games without scoring a touchdown. Not sure if Fields is the long-term answer. Defense won that game today Fields just didn’t lose it. And that’s fine. For now.
Maybe….on the one hand, I’d like to see Wilson for a game or two, but in the other….you can’t pull Fields. Also, as much as we should probably try too trade Wilson for a WR…we really shouldn’t. I do love the growth of the offense…it’s awesome!
Watching the way the Steelers are winning, it is very similar to what our RedHawks did last year after Aveon took over. Steelers have a QB who can get first downs by running and also avoid sacks by running, and he hits some big passes. Harris is the big back who can keep moving the chains, Steelers have a great placekicker having his best year and the defense has been awesome. It is a formula which worked for us and it works for the Steelers.
TJ Watt is so important to the team though. For several years now the team is just so much better when he is healthy than when he is out. So far this year he is healthy and this great start potentially can keep rolling for awhile. Absolutely no reason to play Wilson at this point. Just keep doing what they have been doing.
What a time for an early snap. I assume Frazier forgot the snap count…OL wasn’t too bad considering an additional injury today…Steelers just lost a 4th-round draft pick today (instead of 6th round), and I’m happy with it…Highsmith would have helped, especially with giving Watt a breather.
Fields is looking better and better….cant imagine seeing Russ absent an injury or collapse. Hopefully Tomlin allows the offense to open up the more Fields gets comfortable
Ironically the Browns and Steelers both lost yesterday when the center snapped the ball early while the QB was studying the defensive alignment. The same exact mistake, and it is something that usually happens about once a season.
