Has there been anything announced about Pitt game tickets? And who’s planning on going?!?
Havent seen anything on tickets. Planning on going but just in and out that day
Kids don’t have football that day, so I might swing over and see the mother-state…
Any chance we win this thing/keep it close? Or will Chuck be treating it as a preseason game?
Any Pitt fan would tell you Narduzzi could absolutely lose this game…
Very winnable game
Two game suspension seems about right.(Pitt football players charged after alleged reckless dirt bike ride in Oakland - WTAE)
Hicks is good - hope he can’t play
Vegas has us <15% to win. That’s not 4, but also: want to make sure everyone’s expectations are well-set here, this is not likely to be a win.
Probably not but I do think we have a better than 15% chance.
Frankly, scoring a single touchdown in the opener would unfortunately be a step up from the past three years.
Should we be underdogs? Probably. Is Pitt in the top 80%!of quality P4 programs? No. I think we have a 40-50% chance of winning
A lot will probably depend on whether Chuck actually plays to win…
Worth noting the 15% is actually generous. FD is +610/-950, which is 14.1 and 90.5 raw, so about 4.6% of vig baked in. Depending how you de-vig, youre in 11-13% range. They’re paying us for a reason.
Pitt was 8-4 in the ACC last year, returning a QB. Turner, their sophomore RB went for 201 @ #16 GA Tech last year. We could win! But 40-50% is not realistic here guys.
Agree. Yes, there is a chance but it is nowhere close to 40%-50% with an inexperienced quarterback (no matter who it is).
I’ve no idea what you just said, but I’ve watched Pitt for 15 years and they’re beatable
Just remember that comparing MAC teams to Pitt 15 years ago with no transfers and no money is not comparable to today.
i think we have a chance but college football parity is a thing of the past.
A mid Toledo did beat Pitt in a bowl the other year
For what it is worth, Phil Steele has Pitt picked as #5 in the ACC, only behind Miami, SMU, Clemson, and Louisville. Pitt’s QB is 4th-team All-ACC per Steele. I still am confident Miami prevails-if Chuck Martin plays to win, and not as a tune up game. A big if.
