That was us last year. I think we were the only team that won a bowl.
The MAC finished last year’s bowl season at 3-5. Miami, Central Michigan, and Western Michigan won their bowl games.

Former Miami DB Mekhi Miller #20 starting for NM State today against BG in the Quick Lane Bowl.
BG doing its best to embarrass the MAC - McDonald INT on first possession leads to quick NMSU TD. BG motion on 4th and 1/2 forced a punt. McDonald knocked out of game on late hit on second series. LIU transfer Camden Orth taking over. Aggies convert a 3rd and 9 and score again. 14-0. BG with two missed FG.
I think the late hit call/targeting was not right. Dude wasn’t sliding IMO he tripped or slipped.
It wasn’t targeting - the kid is still in the game. I agree it shouldn’t have been a late hit either because Pavia didn’t slide.
Aggies up 17-0 now. I can’t believe we friggin’ lost to BG.

60 yard TD run up the gut - Aggies up 24-7.
Fourth quarter BG FG 24-10. BG drive ends when Hillaire loses fumble at the NMSU 3. BG blocks punt out of end zone for safety. 24-12 with about 7 minutes left. BG getting the ball back on a free kick.
BG quick 45 yard drive after free kick nets TD - 24-19 with over 6 minutes left.
BG coaches are so stupid. Every 3rd down they blitz up the middle and the qb runs out wide. Moronic

NM State converted at least 8 third and long…mostly on Pavia runs. They were 10 of 16 on third down. BG was 3 for 9.
24-19 final.
Good story with Jerry Kill back coaching. Hope his health holds up.
