Other college football games 2024

Woullard too. I think he’s still in the single digits for tackles this year at Oklahoma

No need to worry about Navy being in the run for a playoff spot. A loss to an awful interim-coached Rice team?

I think IU is legitimately a mid tier big ten team. Their best conference win was against Wash, who’s currently tied for 7th in the league. Every other win sits at 11th or lower.

Michigan at home will help……but they’re also at 7th too.

I keep thinking: Ben was “found” by the NFL while at Miami…and many of Miami’s portal guys would have had a better shot at NFL money had they stayed at Miami…now all they’ll have is a portal paycheck and, in many cases, the opportunity to work ion the real world post college for a likely lower wage than they pocketed this year.

Hope their agents remind them they will be taxed on their portal pay.

I think we don’t know about Indiana yet. Their strength of schedule is over #100. However, they are second in the nation in scoring and 7th in points given up. They do not play Oregon or Penn State. Their measuring stick is going to be Ohio State. They might be able to get in at 11-1 with a close loss to OSU and of course with a win.

I would agree with you if they were winning every game by less than two touchdowns, but they’re beating almost everyone like they’re FCS chumps. They’re probably not as good as 9-0 suggests but they’re legit imo.

Reality is that the NFL is so cutthroat that the odds of any college star sticking anywhere long-term and making serious money aren’t good even if you stay healthy and continue developing. For many players it’s a lot easier to get money now, and if you’re from an economically challenged background it’s even more pressure to deliver.

Has Amos played at all this year at Old Miss? Greg L 's stats at S Carolina? Woullard playing minutes at Oakl ?

They’re gone. It doesn’t matter. They made their choice.

Amos only has 8 carries this year…But for 73 yards. No receptions.

I wish him the best, but I bet he regrets posting this about Quinshon Judkins in their mini-tift.

It may matter as I believe Amos and Woullard may have another year of elgibility

Gage: 11 catches, 145 yds. Their leading receiver has 24 catches.

I read this comment and thought to myself “no way this happens.” But there is a decent chance of this happening. The top 4 conference champs get byes, so Boise would get a bye if they finish ahead of the Big 12 or ACC champ.

In addition, if Army and Boise both win out, they could both finish ahead of the Big 12 champion if something weird happens where a 3 loss Texas Tech wins the Big 12. In that scenario, a P4 champion could be left out of the playoffs altogether, which would be hilarious.

This assumes BYU loses? More than once?

1 loss they are definitely behind a Boise that’s loss is against Oregon (assuming Oregon wins out)

If BYU loses in the Big 12 title game, then they aren’t a conference champion

Our mutual friend from South Carolina emailed me that Gage has been pretty good lately.
