Hope Miami has let UD/NCAA know that they can sell any tickets left over from the other schools.

These games are very corporate heavy. Not may team tickets. Like the Super Bowl
Buying tix to keep this event at UD is kind of looked at by Dayton STH’s as a responsibility, so it sells well. Since in most years, the First Four is the most boring event to attend in sports, the crowd is generally mostly people who have been given tix from a UD STH boss, friend, etc. I think this year, it will be packed with a Miami crowd. Either Miamians who bought tix from or were given tix by UD STH friends /family, or Dayton fans who will root for Miami. Similar to Arizona 1995. Our allocation is basically irrelevant.

There are a handful of face value tickets on ticketmaster in the 200 and 300 levels for Wednesday. I’m not advocating buying them because there are enough resale tickets out there that I anticipate the market to come down sharply on Wednesday. However, if you want tickets that undercut the current resale prices, they are a good option.

I probably overpaid for my tickets, but not letting this opportunity pass me by. I hope the students turn out in droves and I’m assuming they will as they’ll transition to GBD following the victory.
It’s been nearly 20 years since we’ve been in the tournament. Just divide the number by 19 and the price will be next to nothing per season.
