Looks like we were a big thin in the OL rotation on Saturday.
Many thought the Rockets were in for a rough year when they lost Daquan Finn to Baylor, but that Tucker Gleason from the transfer portal came in, and might even be a step up. They really put the wood to Miss St.

We won the league last year by beating Toledo.

Miami’s rushing stats through 2 games are abysmal…that has to get fixed fast…

Indeed, I was there. What a great day that was. My old man went to Toledo, and he came to the game with us, so it was fun cheering against each other. It was weird because we hadn’t played Toledo in a decade, and then we got 'em twice last year.
I was just commenting though, that they got their current QB Gleason from the transfer portal, and he’s number 4 on that list from their big SEC upset win. When Finn went into the portal after last season, I figured they’d be in for a tough transition, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. And as of right now, they look a lot better than we do.
Anyway, let’s hope we figure it out by the time Mac play starts this season. Just taking our early season ooc lumps and all that. Like old times.
The OL is a very experienced group, so their play so far is very disappointing.
Having two members of the Amish community on the OL might be the problem (see below). Nothing against the Amish. They’re great hard working farmers, woodworkers, and bakers, but terrible O-linemen.

I think Toledo’s university leadership places more of an emphasis on sports than Miami. And don’t they have a better developed collective than Miami?

I am not sure the university leadership is to be blamed here. If anyone, CM and the other coaches should be blamed for not beating Toledo in terms of recruiting quality players. After our campaign last year, we should be loaded with fresh, quality P5 transfers
