Miami vs UC at TQL Stadium

Yeah. The next Oregon series is 2028-2032. There is a lot of pressure on both schools within their respective states to continue the rivalry. Oregon and UW are locked into the B1G’s 9 game conference schedule. Their standard for OOC is one FCS, one G6 and one P4. The continuation of the series would lock them into playing the same G6 team every season. It remains to be seen how much legislative pressure comes to bear in each state. If strong enough to keep them, the FCS games might be history.

P4 teams shouldn’t play them anyways that should be reserved for G6

Not sure if it’s been stated on here yet, but Sayler is very close to a deal for a game with UC in 2029 - the idea is to play the rivalry about every 3 years - we will see I guess. This is straight from him at an MU sponsor appreciation event last Thursday (brought to you by RedBrick Tax & Accounting - my firm ).

Hopefully on a rotational basis of who is home and away, rather than “neutral site” games in Cincinnati

If its not a home and home series than no thanks…when the B12 collapses in a few years, we can just resume the series as a conference match up

Every 3-4 years would be ideal IMO.

I don’t think UC ever wants to come back to Oxford (at least under the current landscape of CFB), and Miami won’t take a discount to play in Clifton…so a neutral site with split revenue makes the most sense.

Yeah, Sayler made it clear that UC will not come back to Yager to play a game. I expect these occasional matchups to be neutral field games - as neutral as the city of Cincinnati is for Miami…

Agree. Washington has generally done it as a nod to Eastern Washington, Idaho and Montana. If the Apple Cup stays the FCS games should go, especially for Washington
